Organizing committee members

Prof . Dr. Azli Yahya is an Associate Professor in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since 2015 until now. He is also a Chartered and Professional Engineer. He holds a Degree in Electro-Mechanical Power System and Masters Degree in Electronic Production from Glamorgan University, UK. He is a doctorate of Loughborough University, UK specializing in Power Electronic System. His areas of researches are Analog/Digital Circuit Design, Power Supply, Electrical Discharge Machining and Biomedical Instrumentation.
Gopalakrishnan Narayanamurthy (Gopal) is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) at the University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS), UK. Prior to joining ULMS, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. He completed his doctoral studies from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, India. During his doctoral studies, Gopal has been a Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellow at Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. He researches in the area of healthcare operational excellence, transformative service research, satellite imagery analytics, digitization, and business model innovation. His research has been accepted for publication in Journal of Service Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Business Ethics, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Computers & Operations Research, Production Planning & Control, and Computers in Industry, among others. He is currently serving as an associate editor for IIM Kozhikode Society & Management Review journal (ABS 2). He is an ad-hoc reviewer for Journal of Service Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Decision Sciences Journal, Journal of Business Research, and International Journal of Production Economics, among others.    

Kamarul Hawari Ghazali is a Professor at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. His research interests are on implementing imaging analysis technique in various engineering applications such as manufacturing, medical, electrical power and agriculture. In machine vision field, he also involved in few projects mainly in application of quality control of manufacturing production. In the thermal imaging field, he has worked on studying the implementation of thermal imaging monitoring in oil and gas to detect gas leakage, finding water spot for landslide prediction as well as implementing thermal imaging analysis in detecting defect on electrical power distribution. In addition, he has made numerous contributions in development of algorithm in image processing as well as in the field of medical imaging analysis. Professor Ir. Dr. Kamarul Hawari Ghazali has more than 200 publications in various journals and conferences. He is very active in research works and lead a few grants from Malaysian government focusing in the field of image processing, machine vision, thermal imaging and biomedical. He is senior member of IEEE, member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and practice professional engineer.
